Product Description

The Sæplast J 1000 insulated bulk container is a classic container in the Sæplast portfolio and remains to this day one of our most popular models. It is particularly well suited for handling fresh fish and large fish e.g tuna or marlin. This Sæplast 1000 insulated bulk container is double-walled with a PUR core and a high insulation factor. It is frequently used to handle salted fish and is widely used to handle raw commodities such as salt and ice. It is also fitted with strong, dependable hoisting grips and is compatible for use with fork lift and pallet jack on short sides.

The Sæplast 1000 insulated bulk container is one of our most popular models and a classic choice. It is particularly well suited for use within the seafood industry, both at sea and during shore based processing. It can be used for example as a fish tub, meat tub, as a container for poultry and other foods, recycle container or whatever suits the customer. Sæplast 1000 container has color, engraving/marking options and tracking solutions, see more details below. 

 

PUR insulated core

The insulation and strength factor - temperature control

Sæplast plastic containers are seamless rotomoulded double-walled containers. PUR refers to the polyurethane insulation injected into the walls of the tubs, ensuring a very high insulation factor. The primary benefit of PUR containers is temperature retention and control. For over 30 years Sæplast has developed a unique technique that ensures effective adhesion between the polyethylene walls and the polyurethane for long lasting structure.

RFID 

SÆPLAST offers a wide range of tubs, pallets and other products, which can be equipped with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags. The RFID ensures that each tub is marked, tracked and easily managed. RFID is a powerful wireless solution that stores information and keeps track of your products. RFID tags have varying storage and reading distance capacities. This is determined by the RFID frequency, form and size. RFID tags can be embedded or attached to SÆPLAST products and by using an RFID reader there is no need for physical contact or direct line of sight. One of the main RFID benefits is the read/write capability; information can both be read and changed easily
 

 

Barcode 

We are also able to equip SÆPLAST tubs, pallets and buggies with customer barcodes.The barcode contains machine-readable data and is frequently usedin warehousesfor stock assessment. The bar-code can e.g. connect a serial number to the engravednumber on the product for easy data registration.

The main benefits of using barcode technology is that barcodes provide a uniform standard,the technology is widespread and the investment cost is low.

Endgraving

 

Silk screen printing

SÆPLAST offers silk screen printing for each tub. Silk screen printing is a unicolor deep print marking on the tub. We at SÆPLAST add the customer name or logo on each tub, making the container easily identifiable. Silk screen markings are available in single colour format and colours available are black, green, red or white.

 

 

 

Engraved markings

We at SÆPLAST also offer engraved markings onto SÆPLAST products to ensure individual container identification. Engraved markings are long-lasting and more durable than silk screen printing. Many customers choose to have serial numbers, company name, factory location or other information engraved onto their SÆPLAST tubs.

 

 

 

Mould-in graphics

We at SÆPLAST also offer multi-colour mould-in-graphic markings for SÆPLAST containers. Mould-in graphics is a visual way to identify customer property by using their company logo. The technology can also be used for marketing purposes or to strengthen branding. Mould-in technology can also be used to present user guidelines or other messages that need to be presented for specific use of the product. This service is available upon request and at added cost
