The executive board of Verk and vit exhibition has, following consultation with the Director of Public Health and the partners of the exhibition, decided to postpone the exhibition, which was meant to go ahead in Laugardalshöll from the 12th to the 15th of March, until the 15th-18th of October 2020.
In the light of the COVID-19-virus, the executive board of the exhibition must put the health and interest of exhibition participants, service providers and guests first. This decision is made now, before the operation of setting up the exhibition would start. Verk og vit has established itself as the celebratory exhibition of the construction sector. With reference to the nature of the exhibition, and the number of people likely to attend, it would prove difficult to follow fully the guidance of the Civil Protection Department. To safeguard the health and safety of exhibition participants and guests, the exhibition is, as outlined above, postponed until October 2020.
